“Veria Dance 2019” from March 14 to 17

For the 4th year, the Veria Dance dance competition will be held in Veria.

“Veria Dance 2019” is organized by the Culture Management Network, in collaboration with the KEPA of the Municipality of Veria and under the auspices of the Municipality of Veria.

The event includes the "Veria Dance Competition 2019" Dance Competition in classical, contemporary, neoclassical and character, which will be held at the Veria Arts Center in two phases (semi-final - final) on March 15, 16 & 17, 2019. Students from amateur dance schools from 7 years of age and older, as well as students from professional dance schools and professionals, will participate. 480 students from amateur and professional dance schools from all over Greece (Thessaloniki, Veria, Alexandria, Naoussa, Drama, Kavala, Serres, Alexandroupoli, Ioannina, Corfu, Arta, Trikala, Larissa, Volos, Athens, Heraklion, Rethymno, etc.) have already registered to participate, as well as from Tirana, Albania.

The jury consists of distinguished dancers and dance teachers from Greece and abroad. More specifically, Gaia Lemmi from Livorno, Italy, Alexander Neskov from Greece (Olympic Theatre) and Keith Morino from Barcelona, Spain.

In addition to prizes, scholarships will also be awarded to winners of the competition.

In particular, free participation in the international dance competition "Livorno in Danza 2020" in Italy, free participation in the international dance competition "Concurso Ciudad de Valencia 2020" in Valencia, free participation in the dance competition "Veria Dance Competition 2020", free participation in the international dance competition "Piccolo Talent 2019" in Italy, free lessons at the "Ballet Summer Course 2019 Budapest" for 1 week, free lessons for the "Summer Intensive Areadanza" in July 2019 in Italy, free participation in the "Summer Camp of Dance, Music and Theater" in August 2019, free lessons for 1 week at the Barcelona Conservatory in summer 2019 and study scholarships at the "Hellenic College of Thessaloniki" Private Schools.

Gifts will also be given to the contestants and winners of the competition by the event's supporters: All Dance dance items, dance items Baila, Pointe.gr and Siberian Swan dance equipment, Kapola dance equipment, Vicky Zorba Dancedreams dance equipment and Goody's Burger House Veria Store.
